Grace E. Sloan Burke

Grace E. Burke, 84, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her residence. She was a homemaker who in later years enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City with her friends. Her family was her life. Grace is predeceased by her son, John J. Burke, Jr. in 2002, her grandson James Richard Bargloski in 1974: and her two brothers, William & Marvin Sloan. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John J. Burke; a daughter Patricia Bargloski of Forked River; a son James R. & his wife Cynthia Burke of Old Bridge; a daughter Karen Burke Whelan of Howell; and a daughter in law Trish Burke of Jackson. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and her many cherished friends. Friends may call on Thursday, August 26 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Friday, August 27 from 10am until Funeral Services begin at 11:30am at the Michael Hegarty Funeral, 3377 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Rd., Arneytown.
