Grace L. Foster

Grace L. Foster, 62, of Old Bridge, died Saturday, January 15 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Staten Island, she had lived in East Brunswick, before moving to Old Bridge 13 years ago.

Mrs. Foster was a bus driver for Old Bridge Board of Education for 22 years. She was also a homemaker, and loved shopping.

Grace was predeceased by her parents, Leo & Jean Malta. She is survived by her husband, Edward Foster; her daughter and son in law, Barbara Lynn Sweeney & Nick Laggis of Guilford, CT; her son and daughter in law, John F. III & Michelle Sweeney of Jackson; her stepson and step daughter in law, Edward & Jennifer Foster of Cliffwood Beach; her grandchildren: Nicholas, Matthew, & Christopher Laggis, and John IV & Christopher Sweeney; her siblings, Frank Malta, of North Brunswick, Charles Malta, of Brick, and Margaret Schorling, of Jackson.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 18 from 4-8pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, NJ, with a prayer service at 7pm. Cremation will be private.
