Janet Mary Daniels Ray

Before her retirement, Janet was a supervisor with New England Life Insurance Company in Woodbridge. She was a past congregant of the East Chester Presbyterian Church in East Chester, NY and the Matawan Presbyterian Church as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Above all Janet loved growing her tomatoes and spending time with her family.

Janet is predeceased by her beloved parents Stanley Owen & Mildred Martha (Cawley) Daniels; her devoted husband of 53 years Robert A. Ray (2009) and her dear brothers Roy & Richard Daniels. She is survived by her loving daughters Lynn M. Ray of Old Bridge; Lori J. (& James A.) Hansen of Brick; Carol J. Ray of Old Bridge and Debra Tipton & fiancé Edward Pajak III of Sayreville. Janet, known by her grandchildren as “Nanny”, will be missed by Brett & Tyler Hansen, Cody Tipton and Katie Ray. She is also survived by her dear friend and “sister” Janette, and her “other” family, the Veralli’s. She loved and cherished you all.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 with Prayer Service beginning at 7pm. A brief prayer service will take place 11am Monday, October 27, 2014 at the funeral home followed by a private family committal service at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
