
Karen L. Bloom, 51, of Springfield, VA, passed away at home Thursday, November 29, 2012. Born in Newark, NJ, Karen was raised in Middletown, NJ, and when she married, moved to Browns Mills, NJ. In 2000, Karen had moved to Virginia.
A big part of Karen’s life for 12 years was NA. She loved going to the beach; she loved her grandchildren, and had taken care of Aiden when Jessica returned to work.
Karen is survived by her husband, James Bloom; her ex-husband, Brian Philpot; her daughter, Angela Philpot; her daughter and son in law, Jessica & Robert Gray; her son and daughter in law, Brian & Jennifer Philpot; her grandson, Aiden Gray; her granddaughters, Madison & Ashlyn Philpot; her sisters, Donna Abel, Terry Swarrow, & Carol Wieler; her brothers, Glen Miller & Jack Miller; and her parents, Vivian & John Miller.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 1-2pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
