Margaret A. LaVine, 54, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away at home Monday, October 17, 2011. She was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, having been born and raised there. Margaret was a dog groomer for 40 years, and she was the biggest NY Mets fan. She is survived by her parents, Howard & Alice LaVine; her brother and sister in law, Peter & Alicia LaVine; her sister, Valerie LaVine; her nieces and nephews, Tyler, Olivia, & Chase; her best friend, Adelaide; her goddaughter, Andrea; and her cat, Frannie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Cremation will be private.
