Margaret McKenna McCarron

Margaret McCarron age 88 a Freehold resident for 47 years and formerly of Old Bridge, gracefully passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold. She was born April 2, 1926 to the late Eugene Joseph and Margaret Agnes (nee Hosking) McKenna in Bronx County, New York. She married Charles McCarron on July 11, 1954 he passed away July 11, 1996.

Margaret was a retired Communications Operator and dispatcher for the New Jersey State Police Troop “C”. She had also been employed by Citi Bank prior to relocating to central New Jersey in 1960. Mrs. McCarron is survived by her loving son Charles McCarron, beloved brother Eugene (Ruth) McKenna, dear sister-in-law Sheila McKenna, and many loving nieces and nephews among a large extended family. Predeceased by siblings John McKenna, Thomas McKenna, and a sister Isabelle Durkee.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 10am to 12noon at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 U.S. 9, Old Bridge NJ. Funeral services 1pm at St. Peter's Episcopal Church 505 Main Street Spotswood, NJ 08884. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
