Maria E. Heck

Maria E. Heck, 86, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at CareOne at Holmdel. Born in Manhattan, NY, Maria had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Holmdel 2 years ago. She was a cafeteria aide for the NY Board of Education for 15 years retiring in 1979. She loved walking, playing dominoes & cards, and wordsearch puzzles.

Maria was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Heck, in 1990; her daughter, Lorretta Policastro; her son, Allen Heck; and her brothers, Ed & Al Vaca. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Edward & Carol Heck; her grandchildren: Laura, Jennifer, Christopher, Allen, Gregory, & Christine; and her 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Funeral Services will be held 10am on Thursday, Februay 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Cloverleaf Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
