

Ramon Hogan, 83, of Eatontown, NJ entered into eternal rest Monday, May 26, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Panama, he migrated to the US in December 1959 to prepare a home for his wife, Evelyn, who followed shortly in 1960. They resided in Brooklyn, NY for 7 years before purchasing a home in Queens Village, NY where they lived until the passing of his loving wife Evelyn on November 1, 2000. He then moved to Eatontown, NJ and from then on shared residence between NJ and Woodbridge, VA.
Ramon was a bookkeeper in New York City, NY with Holiday TOGS. He retired in the '90s which freed up time to travel extensively with his wife, family & friends. In Virginia he attended the Prince William County Senior Center where he enjoyed playing poker.
Family was everything to Ramon, he cherished his children and adored his grandchildren. In 2007 Ramon was baptized at Redemption Christian Church in Virginia.
Ramon is predeceased by his cherished wife Evelyn (2000) and his beloved parents Leonard and Kathleen (Patrick) Hogan, his brothers and sisters: Richard, Frank and Kenneth Hogan, Veronica Jones, Arlene Thompson, Sadie Hogan and Ivy Quintyne and other loved ones.
He is survived by his loving children Lori (and Lance) Hogan-Waterman, Dana (and Steven) Brown and Derek Hogan; his dear brothers Lloyd (and Minnie) Hogan, Roy (and Marva) Hogan and Guy (and Paula) Hogan. Ramon is also survived by his adored grandchildren Keenan and Keanu Brown.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 with a Celebration of Life Service at 8:00 pm. Committal Services will take place Saturday, 10 am Wednesday, May 31, 2014 at Pinelawn Cemetery 2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY 11735.
