Tony graduated from McGavock High School with the Class of ’74. He was a man of many interests and talents. He always enjoyed cooking for the family and was a “master” of the grill. He was quite the handyman as he could fix or repair anything. Tony had a great sense of humor and enjoyed music. He possessed an array of LP vinyl albums and loved to listen to them loudly. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father. He loved well – was well loved – and will be dearly missed.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, James Fisher; and his mother, Mavis (Roberts) Fisher; and his brother,Steven Fisher. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Danita Walters Fisher; daughter, Jamie Leigh Fisher; daughter, Ashley Danielle Fisher Steelman (Sam); grandson, Russell “Rusty” James Steelman; sisters, Beverly Cooper (Tony) and Debra Wimberley (Bruce); and sister-in-law, Cheryl Fisher.
A Celebration of Tony's Life will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 1pm - 4pm at the Cedar Forest Lodge at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, 328 Cedar Forest Road, Lebanon, TN 37090.
