Arbadellia Richardson

Arbadellia (Arby, to many who knew her) was born in Martin, Kentucky to Virgil and Lorraine Bailey, who, with her brother, Wayde Bailey, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Scott Richardson, Sisters in law whom she considered her sisters, and cousins who meant the world to her, and with whom she kept in touch. She loves her two nephews, three great-nephews, and a great-niece, and pictures of them filled her phone.

Arbadellia loved baking for others, travelling, volunteering for causes she believed in, helping animals in need, and making others feel loved and cared for. She was a 12-year breast cancer survivor.

Arbadellia found a career in health care business operations, serving in Manager and Director roles at Pikeville Methodist Hospital (Pikeville, KY), Highlands Regional Medical Center (Prestonsburg, KY), and St. Thomas Health System (Nashville, TN) from where she retired in 2015.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, from 1:00 to 2:00, with a Celebration of Life service from 2:00 to 3:00, at the Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory Tennessee. Burial will be in the Garden of Andrew at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the Funeral Home, following the service.
