Aubrey Edsel Pleming

Mr. Aubrey Edsel Pleming, age 88 of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born in Algood, Tennessee, and was Regional Manager of Sales for Burroughs Corporation. He was also Vice President of Sales for FISI training in all 50 states. He served faithfully in the Army National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elias Edward and Mae Verble Pleming; sisters, Mildred Paunee Pleming Thompson and Wilma Pleming; and cousins, Marie Pleming Reiter and Jean Pleming Pressy.

Mr. Pleming is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, JoAnne Pleming; daughter, Maria Pleming Ballard; son, Ed (Alice) Pleming; granddaughter, Aubrey Anne Ballard; grandson, Wyatt Pleming; niece, Sharon (Joel) Crowell; nephew, Randall Thompson and his son, Rand Vogelfanger; cousin, Fred (Linda) Wood and their daughters, Kimberly and Kelly; and cousins, Larry Pressy and Patsy Brinson Weaver.

Funeral Services for Mr. Pleming will be conducted at Hermitage United Methodist Church, 205 Belinda Dr, Hermitage, TN, on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jacob Fasig officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Mr. Pleming will be buried at 3:00 pm with Military Honors in the family cemetery, at “Bit of Heaven,” the family farm in Algood, Tennessee.
