Austin Lee Paul Franklin age 24, tragically passed away on September 27, 2026. He was born on August 12, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him.
Austin is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Paul Franklin and his grandfather Paul Baxter Franklin and uncle Tommy Franklin.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother Chasity Boner and stepfather Allen Boner; brothers Anthony Holt, Joseph Paul Franklin, Jr.; sister Daitona Franklin; nephew Jeremy Jr; aunts Jamie Foriset Arciniega, Lisa Jackson, Beth Franklin, Chelsea Odom, Rachael Atnip and Michelle Franklin; uncles Josh Atnip, Danny Nix, Bronson Nix, Tink Jackson, James Foriest; grandmothers Joyce, Susie, Shawanda. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, extended family, and dear loved ones who cherished his deeply.
Austin had a love for sports from an early age. He enjoyed playing baseball as a child and had a passion for basketball. He played basketball at his church, Scotts Avenue Church, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Austin also loved dancing, spending time with his family, and creating memories with those he loved.
Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2026 from 3:00pm ~ 7:00pm and Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:00pm ~ 2:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm and the burial to follow at Hermitage Funeral Home.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Raymond Bass, Sr.
Austin's life touched many people, and the memories he created with his family and loved ones will forever remain a part of their hearts. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he left behind will never be forgotten.
