BURLISON, Betty Jean – Age 82 of Hixon, TN., July 21, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, John Marshall “Doc” Burlison; step-son, John “Bear” Burlison. Survived by daughters, Wanda (Rick) Moore, Jenny (Roy) Bowen; son, Stan Cowan; step-son, Carl (Shirley) Burlison; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. David Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
