Betty H Cherry

Cherry, Betty R. age 90 of Mt. Juliet, TN went to be with her husband on May 6, 2025. Betty is survived by her son, Michael A. (Tony) Cherry, daughter Cynthia L. Clark and her husband, Mike, and daughter Sandra L. Bair and her husband Brent. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Chris Payne (Nathalie), William Payne (Lauren), Richard Clark (Mikasha); Brandy Henthorne (Chris); Janet Jarvis; and Justin Bair and by 10 great grandchildren (Alan Payne, William Payne, Nora Payne, Miles Henthorne, Brady Jarvis, Brandon Goupil, Bennett Jarvis, Samantha Jarvis, Mila Clark, and Noelle Clark).

Early in life Betty was an ER nurse, then an X-Ray technician, and a teachers' assistant. If asked, she would say her greatest job was in being a mom. Betty was an avid participant in the Girl Scouts. She was a leader and camp director for over 50 years. She loved anything having to do with the outdoors and warm weather.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in Betty's memory.
