James, Keith, Becky, Debra and Brooks - We send our deepest heart-felt sympathies. Betty Lynn became a member of our family from the moment she stepped into our home on McCarn Street so many decades ago. And so it is we mourn the untimely passing of not only a cherished friend but a much loved sister. We will take comfort in memories of her indefatigable spirit, her loving hugs, her sharp intelligence, and warm, loving caring company. We loved you Betty Lynn and always will. - The Caruthers Family ( Ann, Roberta, Jean and Wayne - and families)

It was a pleasure to work with Betty and Una. She was an excellent friend and mentor to me. She would direct many Christmas musicals and I played the piano. I have fond memories of those times. My life is fuller and richer having known her and her family. They've invited me in their home, were gracious hosts and I'll never forget how Jimmy and Betty came to my aid when my son was hospitalized as a teenager with viral meningitis. God Bless you, Jimmy, Becky, Keith, Debra and Brooks and the grandchildren. Continued prayers for you and your family in the days ahead. Lovingly, Michael Collins

I had the pleasure of meeting Betty when I first moved to Nashville! She welcomed me and made me a part of that workout class! As fate would have it..I crossed paths with Betty through MNPS. She was a wonderful person and a wonderful educator! She touched so many lives and made them better! May you find peace.
