Betty Gale Jordan

IN THE CARE OF
Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens
Betty Gale Jordan, “Bett”, age 71, passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 9, 2022, at
Red Cedar Glen in Hendersonville, TN. Betty was born March 24, 1951, to the late Raymond C.
Jordan and Wrenza Lou Mullinax Jordan.
First and foremost, Betty loved the Lord—she and her parents were members of Lakewood
Baptist Church. Throughout her years, at her mother’s side, she was an avid supporter of the
Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce. When asked about her favorite thing to do, Betty
would often stand up with her hands on her hips and walk the runway like a famous model.
Betty always loved looking at bridal magazines and listening to the music of Elvis Presley--
nothing thrilled her more than to hear his voice!
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Hermitage
Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, with Bro. Alan Sircy officiating. Visitation
with the family will be 11:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home. Following the
service, her final resting place will be in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Hermitage Memorial
Gardens.
Betty is survived by her uncle, Bobby Dean Mullinax of Gallatin; lovingly cared for by Kathy
Mullinax Decker (John) of Gallatin, Allyson Lee Decker Short (Austin), and McCall Decker; Betty
was loved by all who knew her, including many other cousins, Linda Wall, Diane Wamble, Lynn
Hedges, Mike Skelton, Greg Mullinax and the Jordan family. Betty had a tremendous impact on
all who knew her. Special thanks to the entire staff at Red Cedar Glen in Hendersonville and
the wonderful Alive Hospice team for their loving care.
