Betty Sue Walker

Betty Sue Walker age 84, passed away December 15, 2016 in Old Hickory, TN. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Walker; parents, Sammie & Ollie Mae Goins and 8 siblings. Survived by daughters, Beverly Walker, Jacqueline (Terry) Moser; son, Larry (Robbie) Walker; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Bill Goins, Joseph Goins, Mary Davis, Elsie Mason, Rayford Goins, Ruth Cole, Harold Goins, Mildred Page, Kenneth Wane Goins and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend her love for outdoors, her famous hummingbird cake she would make; the beautiful flowers she would grow; all these memories will be cherished and live on with her family & friends. Her devotion to hard work was shown to her children being on the farm these ethics and memories on the farm will live on in her children's legacy. She will truly be missed by all. Gathering of family & friends Tuesday, December 20th 11 am till 7pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 21st 11 am at Madison Church of Christ with visitation one hr prior to service. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
