Billie Joan Wilkerson, age 88, of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. Billie was born November 10, 1932 in Anniston Alabama to her parents Wallace Vinyard and Flossie Waddell Steadham who predecease her. Billie was in management in the real estate industry working for apartment complexes. She was a member of Donelson Fellowship where she and her husband oversaw the Sunday School Prayer Ministry. She enjoyed travel, loved watching old movies, was an avid reader and completed the daily crossword puzzle in the newspaper each and every day. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Billie is predeceased by her parents and by her brother and sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Willard Leon Wilkerson whom she met when they both were in high school, by her sons Jeffrey (Kathie) Wilkerson and Drew (Kay) Wilkerson and by her grandchildren Emily (Will) Vance, Erin Wilkerson, Melissa (Jayson) Bookout, Matthew (Samantha) Wilkerson, Mari Wilkerson and her fiancé Mitchell Cisney and by her great grand daughters Emma and Lucy Wilkerson.
A visitation for Billie will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Donelson Fellowship, 3210 McGavock Pk., Nashville, TN 37214. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Donelson Fellowship, 3210 McGavock Pk., Nashville, TN 37214. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln., Nashville, TN 37221.
