Bobby Aaron Bass

Bobby worked for 37 years for State Farm Insurance Company. Was a member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church for 64 years. He was active in the community until he went home.

Preceded in death by parents Aaron & Ellen Frances Bass, Brother Don Bass.

Survived by loving wife of 63 years Sandra F. Bass, Daughters Allison (David) Cannon and Leslie (Randal) Whitehead, Son Carey Bass, Grandchildren Andrew (Eleese) Whitehead, Adam Whitehead, Hailey Bass, Brady Bass, Adleye (Dean) Helton and Aubrey (Edmond) Pomphrett. Great Grand Children Mahogany Williams, Joelle Helton and Cooper Bobby Helton. Brother Ray H. (Bonnie) Bass. Bobby also leaves behind many extended family members.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. And on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, 3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076. A celebration of life will occur Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, with Bro Poly Rouse, Bro Matt Hill and Bro Dean Haun officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Andrew Whitehead,Adam Whitehead,Brady Bass, Dean Helton,Cooper Bobby Helton and Edmond Pomphrett serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers Glynn Blasingim, Don Thompson, Don Kohanski and Ray Bass.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hermitage Hills Baptist Church Ongoing Mission Program, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center or Donelson Lions Club.
