Dear Elaine,
I have such fond memories of being with Bobby and you in Albuquerque at the balloon festival and visiting the two of you in Florida. I hope you can take comfort in memories of the good times. I can remember all of us laughing and I was always so tickled how tenderhearted he was with you and princess. Sometimes he and Larry together we’re a bit much to take but it surely was fun! You are in my prayers. I love you my other mother.Susie

Bobby was a major contributor to the success of Lance Snacks as he did great work in all his different positions with the company. He retired as our National Accounts Manager in charge of the Nashville Zone and did a first rate job representing the company with all the major retailers in the Nashville market and surrounding areas. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Lance, and especially the Sales Department where he worked for over 30 plus years. His dedication to the Company was evident to everyone who had the good fortune to work with him! God Bless You Bobby!

Bobby Hawkins, such a wonderful man! What a blessing to have had the opportunity to be a part of your life as a Lance co-worker as well as a friend during and after our working relationship ended.

So many fond memories of working together on sales calls, strategizing approaches, and traveling the Region watching him work his magic w/ customers who recognized his honesty and reliability on all parties behalf.

Even better was the great times like roofing his house, a trip to the Boy Scout Jamboree, boating on area lakes, enjoying him playing music with the Corner Music crowd and others, and best of all, golfing. Bobby was one of the founding members of a group we fondly called “The Myrtle Beach Boys”. For the first 22 years, the Hawk was a cornerstone for the first 22 years of our annual golfing trek to MB before “retiring as our “Chairman “ and official score keeper. He took a lot of good natured grief, but gave as good as he received! There has been a void without him with us the last several years.

Bobby, we thank you for being the epitome of what Lance was known for in the Nashville area, for always considering others before yourself, for being a loving husband, dad and grandad, and for being a loyal friend to so many.
