Carlos Mathew Rodriguez

Carlos Mathew Rodriguez, 61, of Nashville, TN passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2025, in Waverly, TN. Carlos was born in Manhattan, NY, on February 12, 1963, growing up in Miami, FL before moving to Nashville TN where he was a 1981 graduate of DuPont High School in Hermitage.

Known to many as “Guitarlos”, he worked as a guitar tech for many popular Southern rock artists. Carlos enjoyed playing the electric guitar, with a special passion for rock music. He was a gifted artist with his own graphic design and clothing print business. He was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed by his loving family, friends, and all that had the opportunity to know him.

Survivors include his daughter, Megan Beverly, son-in-law Gage and grandson, Jude; Mother Maria L. Rodriguez, brothers Chris and Michael Rodriguez, sister Michelle, niece, nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Carlos Rodriguez, Sr. and brother Richard Rodriguez.

A Celebration of Life Memorial for Carlos will be held on Sunday, January 26, at 2 p.m. at the Donelson Pub 945 Allen Road in Nashville, TN. His final resting place will be in the Garden of Devotion at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Old Hickory, TN.

Those desiring to send flowers are suggested that they be delivered to the Memorial Celebration at the Donelson Pub.
