Carol Sue Wright, age 77, of Cookeville, Tennessee formerly of Nashville passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Carol was born June 4, 1944 in Jamestown, TN to her parents Logan and Irene Crabtree Tinch who predecease her.
Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a good cook and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was a very lovely lady and will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and all that knew her.
Carol is preceded in death by her Granddaughter Crystal Marie Gardner who passed away on June 28, 2005 and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Beverly (Jimmy) Young, Joy Wright, Penny Wright and Kimberly (Mike) McHenry, by her Grandchildren Charlie (Katrina Wilson) South, Joshua Pena, Angel (Nick) Guynn, Heather (Ryan) Thurmon, Eligah Coffey, Katelyn McHenry and Kourtney McHenry, by her Great Grandchildren, Brittney (Cody) Hutto, Ellisa Gardner, Dominic Pena, Olisa Pena, Melodee Wilson, Gage Pena, Piper Pena, Bria Pena and Marley South and by her Great-Great Grandchildren, Isabella Hutto and Lily Pena and by her siblings Betty Evens, JoAnna Myers and J.L. Tinch.
A graveside service for Carol will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice.
