Carole was born August 19, 1942 in Madison TN to her late parents Thurman L. Moore and Nell Shockley Moore. She attended DuPont High School and after high school attended business college. She worked for Toshiba where she retired from.
Carole was a woman every woman should aspire to be in all facets of life. She loved her family, but most importantly had a love for God that brought peace and stability throughout her family and home. Carole enjoyed shopping, dancing, sweets, and LOVED riding with her husband in their dune buggy in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Carole is survived by her loving husband Freeman ‘Buddy’ Savage, to whom she loved dearly. They were set to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary on May 20, 2024.
Carole is also survived by her 3 children Sherry (Charlie) Hutchison, Randy (Lori) Savage, Jeff (Michele) Savage. Her grandchildren Chris Stafford, Jason (Jennifer) Savage, Robbie Murphy, Cyndy (J.B.) Regen, Kayla (Connor) McChurch, Shane Hutchison, Kasey (Cooper) Pittman, Shelby (Dylan) Webb. Carole also has 7 great-grandchildren. Carole is survived by her brothers Terry (Frieda) Moore, Ricky (Wanda) Moore, and her sister Sandra (Ronny) Huddleston.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on Thursday May 9, from 10:00-12:00 followed immediately by Carole's Celebration of Life service in the Chapel. Interment will be in the Garden of Gethsemane at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, it has been recommended that family and friends please bring comfort food to share and enjoy with each other.
Carole will be missed tremendously but the family has refuge in knowing she served her mighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
