Carolyn Louise Jackson

Carolyn was a wonderful cook and truly enjoyed entertaining and feeding those she loved. A beautifully set table brought her a lot of joy. She loved gardening. Planning a garden and sharing plants with other gardeners was one of her favorite things. Carolyn loved antiques, shopping for them and learning their story. But her true joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Her back yard was a magical place for kids with secret hideaways, ladders to trees, ropes to swing on and so much more. “Yes” was her word of choice.

She is survived by her daughter Krista (Trent) Fortner; grandchildren Drake Fortner, Brock Fortner and Jack Fortner; life long friends Judy (Tom) Smith and many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Willard and Blanche Cluck, siblings Doris (Axel) Swang, Donald (Joyce) Cluck, Elma Hornyak, Margaret Ann Cluck, and Neil (Dianne) Cluck.

Gathering of Family & Friends on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 10:00-11:00am at Hermitage Funeral Home. Graveside Service will begin at 11:00am at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Rachel.
