Charlie was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and going on cruises with his wife, Dana. Charlie also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his “Best Buddy” Veda.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael David Hunt; his father, Tommy Theodore “Ted” Hunt; maternal grandparents Alden and Marion McDonald; paternal grandparents Annie Virginia Alford, Ervin White and Tommy F. Hunt.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Dana Hunt; his children, Priscilla Robbins, Keri Hunt (Andre Deshaun Carey) and McKayla Hunt; his grandchildren Luke Mason Yon, Addison Rose Yon, Veda Jade Carey and coming soon Thea Jean Carey; his mother, Robin Hunt; his sister, Trish Casselberry and his nephew, Keith Casselberry as well as other loving family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., the burial will follow all at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers include Keith Casselberry, Marshall Chambers, Robert Perry, Travis Dickens, Danny Martin, Brian Jones, Jed Hanserd and Ryne Hiter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimbo Whitsett and Jeff Zoner.
Officiating the service will be Dan Haskins.
