I had the pleasure of knowing Claire from early school years and later with our careers at BellSouth.  She was, without a doubt, one of the most selfless and kindest individuals I have known.  She will surely be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

I worked with Claire at BellSouth/ATT.  She sat next to me before she retired. What a sweetheart she was!  She was smart, kind, and always thoughtful.  She loved her husband,  children and grandchildren and spoke of them often.   Her boys were her heart and soul.  It was an honor to  be her friend.  

I worked with Claire for a number of years at ATT under the variations names we went though starting with Southern Belle I think it was.   Anyway, she was a bright spot in the office, always able and willing to help anybody in a time of confusion or need.

She will be remembered.

Claire was my best friend that I have had the pleasure of having in my life since childhood.   She was a shining light in my life as well as anyone else that was  lucky enough  to know her.   We had the best talks sharing stories about our family & just life in general, I will miss that.   
Claire was the kindest, sweetest person I have ever known, if most people were like her,  what a beautiful world this would be.
My heart is broken but you are not in pain anymore.  I have comfort in knowing that I will see you again.

I have known Claire most of my life.  Claire was my sister's best-friend.  Claire was like an extension of our family when I was growing up.  The last time I saw Claire was at a party that I gave several years back - all of my sisters were at the party.  I am so glad we had the time to talk about fond memories we all had growing up together.  Claire was a kind soul.  When she and I connected on Facebook I enjoyed hearing about her grandchildren, and looking at the pictures she would share.  Claire loved God.  I consider myself blessed to have known her. 

Claire was an angel on Earth. Her genuine compassion was felt by everyone who knew her. Those of us who worked with Claire were especially blessed by her presence. She was tiny, yet mighty. I am thankful the last time I saw her, at someone’s retirement party, I told her I loved her. The Kingdom has gained an incredible Spirit. 

Claire was a very good friend for many years. I am shocked and saddened upon hearing of her passing. I wish I had known that she was near death. We had such fun times together working at the phone company. 
One of the kindest people I have ever known. I know she hated to leave her family, but overjoyed to see her Mama again. I'll always carry fond memories of her with me. Love you Claire. 😥❤️

We have been friends with Glenn and Claire many years.  Claire a sweet very determined individual.  She never let anything get in her way especially on the wonderful vacations. We always looked forward to seeing vacation pictures and pictures of her grandkids.   Claire is an inspiration to me, she never let anything get in her way even with some of the health struggles.  God bless the Basham family and we will see you next in Heaven Claire, hope you have some more pictures to share.  Thanks for being our friend.  

I had the pleasure of working with Claire at BellSouth---she was a conscientious, diligent employee and a beautiful, caring person.  Claire was kind and concerned and often spoke of her family.  Gone too soon, our loss is heaven's gain and I am happy for her freedom.  My prayers for the family, hold your heads high, you were loved by such a wonderful person---and know that she loves you still.

This wonderful lady was by far the sweetest person.  
She liked her broth instead of a hearty meal.   At work we ate like pigs but not our beautiful Claire.
