Myrtle “Claryce” Wells age 89, Passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was a long-time resident of Old Hickory, TN where she is survived by her husband of 70 years Jimmy Thurston Wells. Both were graduates of Dupont Senior High School in 1955.
She is also survived by children Jimmy A Wells, his wife Melissa A Wells; Melissa B Norwood-Wells and David R Wells. Brother Jack Wade Hester and his wife Roseann Hester. 7 Grand Children and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Wade Baxter Hester and Elizabeth Hester and Great Grandson Michael David Ogle.

Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home on April 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on April 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Hermitage Funeral Home on April 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens on April 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
