Clyde L. Williams Mt. Juliet, TN age 80 of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away March 15, 2014 after a year-long battle with cancer. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his son, Michael R. Williams. He is survived by his loving family, including daughter Angie (Charles) Prewitt, Margie P. Williams; granddaughter, Brooke (Mark) Prewitt Vane; grandson, Russell (Alison) Prewitt; and four great grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Following his military service, he entered into the printing industry having a successful career until retirement. His favorite pastime was golf, a sport he enjoyed for more than 50 years. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN. Entombment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, also at Hermitage Funeral Home .Contributions may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and Alive Hospice.
