Cynthia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert W. Nelson, and her parents, John and Catherine Hoeppel.
She is survived by her children, Patrick (Holli) Nelson and Brian Nelson; her cherished grandchildren, Shelby Nelson, Peyton Nelson, and Skylar Nelson; her sisters, Pat Majors, Sandra Hiner, and Molly Young; her brother, George W. Swain; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
Cynthia enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading books, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time in the mountains and at the beach with her late husband. Though she was allergic to cats, she opened her heart to Sabrina, a stray cat her husband had adopted, and grew to love her. Cynthia also enjoyed attending her widower's group and a local coffee club.
