Dan is survived by his fiancé and devoted partner of 18 years, Lisa Ann Reavis; daughter Amber Coogan Bell (Scotty), sister Elizabeth Coogan Leonard, brother James C. Coogan, granddaughter Mary Bell, nephew John Leonard, aunt Ellen A. Meinhold, and many beloved cousins.
Dan was a retired Engineer at CSX railroad. He loved people, never met a stranger, and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, RV camping, working in his yard, and spending time with family and friends. He was kind, generous, funny, and a great friend to many. He will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 24 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
