David loved his family especially Ruth, with a faithful commitment. He loved being a follower of Christ. He read the newspaper every day. He was a life-long basketball player, critic and enthusiastic BIG fan of UK- Go Big Blue!
He was introspective and sensitive; Honest and trustworthy; Kind; Forgiving to those who wronged him; Quiet in crowds; and Humble in spirit.
An honor student, in high school and college; A history buff; A competent career employee for Prudential; A fanatically accurate cashier at Trevecca working late to assure everything balanced to the penny.
An inquisitive, though tentative, traveler with briefcase in hand; a fierce game player, Ping Pong, Oh My! Quiddler, Ten Thousand, Phase 10- usually the big winner; An expert card shuffler, At times, compulsively detailed.
A committed Christian; Ethical; Generous to those in need; Dedicated to serving others; A Cheryl’s list volunteer, helping the less fortunate.
David leaves to us a legacy of faithfulness to Christ, integrity in daily living, loving concern for family and friends, active compassion for the needy, and unwavering, passionate support for the important matters- including the next win for Big Blue!
