Derrill Ashley Cole, age 65, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Derrill was born in Dearborn, Michigan on March 3, 1958, to his parents F. B. Cole & Thelma Pauline Scott.
Derrill worked in sales for the trucking industry. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Christian, and loved his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.
Derrill is survived by his twin brother, Derrick Scott Cole; by his nieces and nephews Lisa Williams (Franklin Douglas Mahon Jr.), David Harrell, Laurie Harrell, Tiffany Dana Lee Sellers, and Shannon Scott Cole; and by his great nieces and nephews IIisa Spears, Colena Johnson, Cailey Cole and Addison Cole; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Denine Scott-Cates.
A Gathering of Family & Friends for Derrill will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home. Following the service, Derrill will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Apostles in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
