Diana Lynn Davis, born on November 14, 1945, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to her parents, Olyus Lynn Ford and Annie Sue Woody Ford, who preceded her in death, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 79.
Diana was a resident of Antioch, Tennessee and was a Bookkeeper in the Public Account field. She was also a very devout Catholic and had been participating in the online services of Calvary Chapel Brentwood. She was an avid reader and when her eyesight left her, she switched to audio books. She was a wonderful Christian woman who will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all that had the opportunity to know her.
In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Davis in 2005; by her sister, Linda Lewis; by her brother-in-law, Thomas; and her faithful companion, Annie Sue. Diana is survived by her daughter, Shelby Denise (Dale) Baker; by her sister, JoAnn (Larry) Allen; her brother, David (Digna) Ford; brother-in-law, Dan Lewis; and grand pup, Harley Quinn. Diana also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Diana at Hermitage Funeral Home, located at 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN, 37138, on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Following visitation, Diana will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Cross at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, at 2:00 PM, at the same address.
