McDonald, Ed age 89 of Madison, TN passed away April 6, 2015. Ed was born in Smith County, TN to Edgar and Maggie D. McDonald. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and a retiree of Avco after 37 years of service.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jewel McDonald; sons, Dale McDonald (Janet), Terry McDonald (Rachel) and Brent McDonald; grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Tian McDonald; sister, Mary Jackson.
A Funeral service will be conducted 2pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Squires officiating. A Military Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Building Fund.
