She spent her career as an emergency room registered nurse, working most of that time at Humbolt Hospital.
In her free time she enjoyed reading and caring for her husband and two dogs Ripley and Timber.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years William Laurence Farris; children Jim Carson, Vickey (Frank) Bryan and Lisa (Mark) McCoy; grandsons Troy, Jeremiah and Joe.
Per Mrs. Farris’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to Alive Hospice.
