Elizabeth Ann McClung, 87 of Old Hickory, TN passed away Friday March 29, 2024. Ann was born in Carthage, TN on September 6, 1936 to Carl and Katherine Dedmon. Ann was a graduate of DuPont High School. Following high school Ann owned and operated Ann’s Beauty Salon in Old Hickory. She also loved her role as a school patrol mother for DuPont Elementary. Ann enjoyed tole painting and selling her paintings at craft shows around town. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband William “Billy” McClung of 52 years, and together raised their family of four boys. She enjoyed her time as a stay at home Mom and attending her children’s, grandchildren and "The Greats" activities.
Ann was also preceded in death by her parents: Mary Katherine Chaffin Dedmon, Carl (Janie) Dedmon and a son, Carl Thomas “Tommy” McClung.
Ann is survived by her sons; Jeff (Dawn) McClung, Randy (Christy) McClung and John McClung. Grandchildren; Torie McClung Frazer, Leslie (Chad) Warren, Michael (Candice) McClung, Joey (Shelby) McClung, Josh (Claryssa) McClung, Hunter McClung and Daniel McClung. Also surviving are “The Greats”, Peyton McClung, Brody McClung, Mallory Frazer, Knox Jackson, Landon McClung, Collins McClung, Bella McClung, Ansley Jackson, Beau McClung and Ellison Jo McClung.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Hermitage Funeral Home. A celebration of Life will begin at 11:00AM on Wednesday April 3 at 11:00AM in the Tulip Grove room at the funeral home. Following the service, Mrs. McClung will be laid to rest in the Garden of Masonic at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138
