Mr. Merritts was a Korean War Veteran were he served in the US Airforce. He was a long time Country Music artist.
Survived by Fiancé Ann Morris. Sons Joseph, Alan, Gary and Bruce Merritts. Sister Virginia Kost. Three grandchildren and two Great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Celebration of life will be held 11 am Thursday at Hermitage Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation Wednesday from 4 pm till 7 pm and Thursday from 10 am till service.
