She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Billy R. Gross; son, Kenneth Gross; and brothers, Billy Bethel and JD Bethel.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Kimbro (Bill Edwards); son, Timothy (Betty) Gross; daughter-in-law, Rose Gross; grandchildren, Kaden Gross, Vickie Anderson, and Debbie Shaffer; great granddaughters, Kerri Standridge and Elodie Gross; great-great grandsons, Kolton Standridge and Brantlee Standridge; brother, Doyle (Bobbie) Bethel; and sister, Brenda (Bill) Duke.
She was a longtime member of Old Hickory Church of the Nazarene. Eva worked as a clerk for the State of Tennessee for several years. She enjoyed sewing, making dolls, and collecting. Eva never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her.
The Celebration of Life will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
