Alma Evelyn Vincent, age 93 of Burleson, TX passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, James Shirley and Cora Vincent; brother, James Vincent, Jr. and sister, Ouida Mai Rudd. Survived by niece, Linda (Larry) Cassella; great nieces and great nephews. Evelyn was born September 21, 1921 in Bell Buckle, TN. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt. She lived in Old Hickory for most of her life before moving to Burleson to be near her niece and her family. Evelyn worked as a telephone operator early in her business life and retired after working for the State of Tennessee Employment Security department in data processing. She was an accomplished pianist and for 50 years enjoyed playing the organ and piano at her church, Old Hickory Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at Hermitage Funeral Home.
