Fannie Medlin Tignor

Fannie Medlin Tignor, age 89 of Mt. Juliet, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. Preceded by her siblings, Mary Wiles, Frank Medlin, Sarah Collins, Naomi Holloway, Jim Medlin, Dorothy, Savage, Carolyn Benson and Bobby Medlin. Survived by her husband, James Tignor Jr.; children, Wanda May, Tom (Suzanne) Tignor and Tracie Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Tignor, Dara Allison, Kayla Ferguson and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Thompson, Barbara Bishop and Patricia Medlin; brothers, Everett Medlin and Ernest Medlin. Mrs. Tignor was retired from Life and Casualty/American General where she had worked for all of her adult life. She was a member of College Hills Church of Christ and loved attending church and being a part of Bible classes. Her influence will be felt for years to come. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Noon Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Locke officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
