Florence Elizabeth Eskew

Graveside services for Florence Elizabeth Eskew will be Friday, November 11, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery, located in Lebanon, with Kevin Owen officiating. Visitation will be held this Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Hermitage Funeral Home in Old Hickory.

Ms. Eskew, age 78, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Hospital after a short illness.

She was born August 4, 1938 in Bernie, (Stoddard County) Missouri to the late John and Ila Eskew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Gerald Eskew.

Ms. Eskew was a member of the College Hills Church of Christ. She lived her life caring for others and asking for nothing in return. Her love for children and seeing them grow brought her tremendous joy.

Her life will be forever remembered by her three children; Linda Nekula, Karen R. (Cliff) Eatherly and Mike (Inga) Roudebush, her 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way, her brother, Wesley Eskew, and many nieces and nephews and her four-legged friend, Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
