SMITH, Freddy JackAge 73 of Hermitage, TN. Passed away November, 28, 2010. Fred was a wonderful husband, son, father, stepfather, brother and friend, and a proud graduate of the University of Texas - Austin. He was a retired Vice-President of HELP International, Plano, TX. Preceded in death by parents, Dillard and May Belle Smith of Rotan, TX. Survived by wife, Peggy Ann Smith; children, Heather Lynn Smith of Austin, TX and Michael Todd Smith (Ariel) of Woodland Hills, CA; brothers, Charles Robert Smith of Austin, TX and David Smith of Rotan, TX; step-daughters, Patti Tuttle Adams (Tommy), Vicki Tuttle Marrs (Rick) and Terri Tuttle Newport (Bob); grandchildren, Rob Johnston, Patrick Adams, Christopher Bass, Steven Bass, Brenna Newport and Evan Newport. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Hermitage Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, TN.
