Freeman Fowler Savage Jr.

Born on June 24, 1943 in Madison, TN. He was the son of the late Freeman F. Savage, Sr. and Velma Tucker Savage of Nashville, TN.

Buddy married Carole Ann Moore on May 20th 1962. They were married for 61 years until her death in 2024.

He worked at DuPont in Old Hickory until his retirement. He then ran his own Welding business from home for years. His favorite pastimes were racing cars and visiting Gatlinburg with his wife and family.

Buddy is survived by his 3 children: Sherry (Charles) Hutchison, Randy (Lori) Savage, and Jeff (Michele) Savage. Also grandchildren: Christopher Stafford, Jason (Jennifer) Savage, Robbie Murphy, Cyndy (JB) Regen, Shane Hutchison, Kayla (Connor) McChurch, Kasey (Cooper) Pittman, and Shelby (Dylan) Webb. Great grandchildren: Taylor Escue, Bo Escue, Samuel McChurch, Rylee McChurch, Henry Wayne Pittman, Charlee Mae Webb, and Harper June Savage.

Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Monday May 19, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Also Tuesday May 20, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral at 11:00am. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Pall bearers: Christopher Stafford, Connor McChurch, Cooper Pittman, Dylan Webb, Jarrod Beazley, Jason Savage, JB Regen, Shane Hutchison.
