Geneva Lavern "Jadie" Crossland, age 84 of Goodlettsville, TN, died on June 10, 2019, at her home after an extended illness. Geneva was born January 29, 1935, in Stewart County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Manners and Ida Lorene Milam Manners. Geneva is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Clifford Howard Crossland, Jr. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Wilma Woosley, Madison, TN; one son, Mark Crossland of Goodlettsville, TN; and one daughter Barbara Crossland (Dr. Timothy Lambright) of Nashville, TN. 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Anderson, Hilary Davis, Amanda Evilcizer, and Ariel Reiter. 6 great grandchildren: Preslie Anderson, Riley Evilcizer, Jeromy Davis Jr., Emery Evilcizer, Janiyah Davis, and Jaida Davis.

Preceded in death by 1 brother Thurman Manners, sister Lillian (Wig) Smith, and sister Alpha (Teenie) Gray.

Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

The funeral will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. David Kemp officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

mama Crossland was a person loving soul, she loved us ever since we was little mama crossland and daddy crossland are like mama and daddy to us we love you both for a long time well will miss mama crossland but she will always be in our hearts ,she was an awesome person, she was loving,caring, kind, thank for letting us be apart of your family amen
