He is preceded in death by his father and mother, George C. Rogers and Virginia "Jenny" Rogers, and grandmother, Ruth Jinnette.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Rogers; daughters, Donna Farris, Sharon Berry, Leigh Anne Allen, and Tara Hasty; son, Mickey (Darlene) Rogers; sister, Joyce Sugg; grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Farris, Josh Allen, Mark Allen, Jeremy Rogers, Wesley (Haley) Hasty, Kayla Hasty, Kyle Berry, Michael Berry, and Heather Berry Vance; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 and 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Hermitage Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with grandsons and friends serving as pallbearers.
