Mrs.Geraldine J. Segars of Antioch, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was born October 6, 1943 and was 78 years old. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her! She was a "people person" and could easily engage with everyone she met. She especially enjoyed being with her family. One of her favorite saying, "Everything's Good and Everything's Nice" truly showed her positive outlook on life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Joel Ray Jernigan and Effie Ethel Neal Jernigan, 6 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her husband Dallas Segars, her children; Bobby Ray (Hope) Walker and Cherry Lynn Priest, 5 grandchildren; Dusty (Tiffany) Harrison, Crystal (Brad) Montgomery, Danielle (Jared) Childers, Joshua (Ashley) Walker, Garrett (McKenzie) Alford and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Stan Owens-Hughes of Smith Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
