BENNETT, Gertrude "Trudy" Catignani; Age 78, February 16, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Anthony & Josephine Catignani; 4 brothers: Anthony, Louis, Andrew and Joseph; 2 sisters, Assunta and Mary Josephine. Survived by husband of 53 years, Paul R. Bennett; sons, Paul R. Bennett II (Kathy), Andrew Bennett and Marvin Bennett (Diane); daughters, Michelle Vickers (Scot) and Mary Rutherford (Johnny); sisters, June Marie Walden and Aida McCarver (Ken); 10 grandchildren: Sasha, Anthony, Derrek, Justin, Selina, Hunter, Faith, Dylan, Brandon and Caroline, 2 great-grandchildren: Savannah and Banx Joseph. Funeral Mass will be 12 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Mark Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be 4 pm – 8 pm on Tuesday at Hermitage Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will also be 10 am - 12 pm on Wednesday at the church. Memorial gifts in Mrs. Bennett's honor may be made
to The American Heart Association.
