Professionally, Grace was a Medical Assistant in the medical field. In her own time, she was a woman of many interests. She had a strong love for all animals. She was an avid reader who enjoyed her alone time. But during football season, there was no question that she could be found in front of the television on the weekends watching and cheering for all teams, whether collegiate or professional. Grace had a special place in her heart for her church, Mother Teresa Catholic Church in Nolensville, Tennessee. She was so looking forward to getting back to church.
Grace is preceded in death by her father, Hugh C. Hooper; her mother, Marie (Jaent) Hooper; and her brother, Wesley Hooper. She is survived by her sisters Florence Buck, Kathy VanDenburgh (Hank), Mary Adams; and seven very special nephews. Grace also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Grace on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Andrew Visitation Room at the Hermitage Funeral Home. There will be a Funeral Mass following the visitation beginning at 12:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home with Father Mark Simpson officiating. Following the service, Grace will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
