Mrs. Johnson was a hard worker and, in addition to maintaining a home, she worked outside the home until she was 85 years old. She worked for more than twenty years in Sales and Service at Opryland in the Hospitality Industry. After retiring from Opryland, she was not content to sit at home so she began working in a gift shop at the Nashville International Airport.
Mrs. Johnson not only worked hard, she played hard. She loved to bowl and was a member of several bowling leagues. She enjoyed growing flowers and her animals. But above all, she had a fierce love for her family. She loved to cook and would often prepare too much food in an effort to ensure each family member had their favorite dish at the meal. She will be missed greatly.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Hill; mother, Lettie May (Bolton) Hill; loving husband, William Andrew “Buck” Johnson; son, William Randal (Randy) Johnson; sister, Mary Clark; and brothers, Clyde Hill, Bill Clark, and Wayne Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Aldridge (Ken); grandson, Chris Johnson; granddaughter, Alisa Hannagan (Daniel); great grandson, Aiden Hannagan; and brother-in-law, Morris Johnson (Mary).
