

Henry “Hank” Maloy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and proud military veteran, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born on June 12, 1933, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Hank was the cherished son of Frank & Hazel Maloy.
Hank is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Lilly Maloy. Together they built a loving family that includes their son, Scott (Rita) Maloy; daughter, Terri (Dennis) Staroska; grandson, Christopher (Kennethia) Palmer; granddaughter, Becca (Conlin) McGuff; and great-grandson, Elijah James Palmer.
Hank served his country proudly and with honor and dedication as a member of the 101st Airborne. He was also an avid fan of the University of Tennessee, cheering on the Volunteers with great enthusiasm. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was a devoted Christian and member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church for many years, where he served as a Deacon and served on the Connect team as a greeter on Sunday mornings. He was a very faithful servant to the Lord.
A Celebration of Life service for Hank will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, 3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076. The family will begin receiving friends for visitation at 11:00 am, followed by a service at 12:00 pm. The family has requested everyone wear something colorful and causal as this is a Celebration of Hank’s life.
